The Founder Myth.*
*Not a myth.
We are friends (besties) who met under unusual circumstances that we don’t have time to go into here. But know that it includes a bottle of forbidden funeral vodka.
Both of us aren’t originally from a fashion background. However, we did share a strong opinion that the fashion industry wasn’t doing things correctly. And that the industry was huge enough that it was adversely affecting all our futures. So, we set out to reinvent the (spinning) wheel of how clothing is made. To see if we could combine age-old techniques and modern innovations to create sensationally soft knitwear that does the planet more good than harm.
After years of trial and error, we eventually found sustainable alchemy and became the first (independently audited) carbon negative clothing brand. Whilst also creating the softest, most natural knits on earth. Although we’re proud of what has been achieved so far, we feel this is just the starting line. We want to continue to innovate. To create the blueprint for the clothing industry to change its ways, and to bring us back in touch with where our clothes come from. To remove the excuses of what is or isn’t possible, and to make the clothing industry become part of the solution.
